Tinda is one such vegetarian vegetable option that is full of nutrients. Tinda is easy to digest. Tinda contains anti-oxidants, fiber, carotenoids, vitamin C, iron or potassium which helps in making tinda superfood. Everyone eats tinde ki sabji, but it is also used as a medicine in Ayurveda.
By the way, it is not mentioned in ancient Ayurvedic texts. It occurs in both male and female forms and its vines spread everywhere. The stem of Tinda is angular shaped and hairy. Tinda leaves are thin, pubescent and about 6 cm long, like cucumber leaves.
The flowers of Tinda are small, yellow, 3 cm in diameter or diameter and in clusters. Its fruits are egg-shaped, 6-10 cm in diameter, green and white or speckled yellow in color. The inner part of the tinda is soft and juicy. The seeds are numerous in number, large and elliptical, 8 mm long, yellowish-white in color and smooth.
Tinda is beneficial for the skin and hair as well as good for the digestive system. Apart from this, tinde ki sabji is also beneficial for many other diseases, such as the fruit of Tinda enhances gastric juice, purifies the blood, anthelmintic, also helps in removing stool and urine from the body. In addition, it helps in reducing the pain of the throat as well as itching and drinking alcohol from the body which goes into a state of ignorance.
Tinda seed helps in sharpening the intellect i.e. improving the memory and also helps in removing weakness.
